The built environment already accounts for 35-45% of global material flows and 25% of global waste generation. This leads to diverse environmental impacts in terms of climate change (grey emissions). The city of Bilbao will become at the epicenter of the circular economy in southern Europe on April 2, 3 and 4, 2025.
