What is happening in research and teaching on climate change and adaptation at HafenCity University? What measures and ideas are there? How can HafenCity University Hamburg continue to address this issue in the future? What can be improved at the university in the future?

The programme is divided into three blocks and includes lectures, workshops, experiments, excursions and seminars. All members of Hafencity University can contribute programme items to present their ideas and interests.

We are looking forward to the keynote speech by Frank Böttcher as a highlight of the event. He is a renowned meteorologist and expert on extreme weather, weather and climate change. The Extreme Weather Congress and Climate Management Conference, which he organises, will once again be hosted by us this year.

There will also be an accompanying exhibition in our foyers, presenting the results and ideas of the participants and the diversity of work in research, teaching and study at HafenCity University.
