Building Circularity Conference 2025, Warsaw (Poland)

The built environment already accounts for 35-45% of global material flows and 25% of global waste generation. This leads to diverse environmental impacts in terms of climate change (grey emissions). The share of grey emissions in global greenhouse gas emissions has risen from 15% in 1995 to 23% in 2015, with the construction sector being a major emitter.

International experts from construction, architecture, urban infrastructure, and waste management fields will delve into the most promising solutions to accelerate the transition towards circular economy models, such as:
– Circular procurement in construction
– Strategies and tools of circular building design
– Material cadastres
– Low-carbon and circular building materials
– Safe use of secondary building materials
